As a Junior Software Engineer you will participate in the design and implementation of software in projects realized for European Space Agency (ESA) and space industry. You are expected to deliver reliable code for on-board applications and for flight hardware tesing purposes. You will cooperate with a specialist from ESA, SYDERAL Swiss and leading companies in space business.


We expect that:

  • you are a student majoring in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science or related field,
  • you are in your 3rd or further year of studies,
  • you know English (B2+),
  • you have implemented or are implementing any embedded project and want to tell us about it,
  • you meet at least one of the following requirements:
    • you can program in C or C++ and are interested in low-level programming,
    • you know VHDL or Verilog and are interested in designing for FPGAs,
    • you know how to design electronic boards.


You are an ideal candidate if in addition:

  • you know how to use the linux command line,
  • you know how to use version control system (git/svn),
  • you know any scripting language.
